Kendriya Vidyalaya IIT Tirupati was established in the year 2024 with the patronage and support of the IIT Tirupati management. Nestled in the greenery of the eco-friendly IIT campus, the Vidyalaya has been nurtured with the parental care of the IIT authorities and is now marching confidently towards its goals with its head held high. We are especially privileged to have access to excellent physical infrastructure and outstanding maintenance, thanks to IIT Tirupati. The Vidyalaya is ably led by the Principal of KV IIT Tirupati.
KV IIT Tirupati is operated jointly by IIT Tirupati and IISER Tirupati under the IHL Sector. The capital and operational costs are shared in the ratio of 2:1, with IIT Tirupati contributing two-thirds and IISER Tirupati contributing one-third.
